TYMBARC, Tym. (Versmark National) – After planning between him and representatives of the Republic of Bialenia (Republika Bialeńska), a Polish “v-nation”, Julian Szembek-Michelloti, Minister of Culture of the Arts, is set to speak at colloquia on micropatriology and Anglophone micronations, hosted by the University of Bialenia and beginning on October 9.
Coordinated by Szembek-Michelloti and Andrzej P. Ordyński, 7-time President of Bialenia and current rector of the University, the colloquia serve as one of – if not the first – organized academic discussions of this kind among micronationalists. Though previous conferences on micropatriology have been held in 1997 in Porto Claro, and similar conferences were held in years prior in the field of microsophy (developed in the v-sector by Ordyński since 2019), no known academic interaction between sectors is known to have occurred since Scott Siskind’s 2004 lecture in the Lusophone community (recorded in Micronacionalismo Lato Sensu), although previous attempts have been recorded of v-sector “microsophists” coming into contact with micropatriology. Markus Wettin, incumbent Vice President of Bialenia and 13th President of Bialenia, remarked on Bialenia’s forum that similar events have never occurred in micronationalism, and that “it’s going to be a very interesting event.”
The colloquia are part of discussions referred to in the v-sector as the Colloquia Bialenica, academic discussions hosted by the University that have occurred since at least 2019. One colloquium is planned to have v-sector micronationalists ask Szembek-Michelloti about Anglophone micronations and vice versa, while the other is to comprise a academic discussion surrounding the fields of micropatriology and microsophy, including the possibility of integrating the two and using Anglophone terms to begin comparing the v-sector with respect to the outer micronational community.
