Versmark Catholic League Formed, House of Reps. Candidates Confirmed

FEDERHEIM, Vers. (Versmark National) – In the final days before the Ministry of the Interior closed candidate applications Minister Ford announced that the Versmark Catholic League (VCL) had officially been registered. It was confirmed earlier today that three candidates will be running for the newly formed party.

The VCL is a Syncretic party that has adopted the social teaching of the Catholic Church as its main platform. The party is expected to bolster an ideology similar to that of the CDU in Germany or the ASP in the United States, while the party’s official stance on the Versmarkian Monarchy and Nobility is currently unknown. The VCL will be running the following candidates: HL. Julian Szembek-Michelloti, John Pershing, and Sir Thaddeus Koslov.

The Alliance for Civic Transformation has released new AI generated campaigning materials which have notably called for the dissolution of the institutions of the Monarchy and of the House of Lords, in addition to calling for a system of direct democracy. The ACT has registered two candidates for the upcoming general elections: Mt. Hon. Benjamin Picard, and Mt. Hon. Tobey Wyles.

The Monarchist Council Party have fielded a slightly smaller list of candidates: HG. Josh Ford, Hon. Lucas Satoshi, HG. Rene Wynefeld, and HL. Connor Hetner. Despite the more meager list than for previous election cycles, the MCP has approached campaigning with a renewed vigor.

Independent Candidates have made a significant contribution to the number of candidates for the November election, with three candidates: Shane Torres, HL. Moxie Flint, and Finn van Den Gaard.

The Ministry of the Interior has announced that the ballot will be opening on November 1st.
