With the beginning of December and the end of Autumn of Versmark, what has been going on?
Versmark’s 6th General Election ended with results being announced the 1st of the month, with the MCP taking a Majority in the House of Representatives. However, after Am Martins resignation from the House and a subsequent byelection, independent candidate Akash Viridian was taking the final seat in the House of Representatives.
The 2025 Micronational Olympic Federation Intermediate Games are underway, with Austenasia hosting the event this year, multiple contenders from Versmark are competing in the games. Versmark so far has fared well in the National Pride Event, coming in 3rd for “National Name” and tying 2nd for “National Coat of Arms.” Both events together have earned Versmark 7.484 points in the games.
The Parliament of Versmark was successful in passing 4 pieces of Legislation, including: Better Versmark Communications Act, Trying to Replace the Legislative Template Act Again, Election Interference Act and the Judiciary Structure and Procedure Act.
A Constitutional Amendment, titled the “Ford-Nemours Amendment” was successfully passed in the House of Representatives and now awaits deliberation and voting in the House of Lords. The amendment prominently addresses the provincial system in Versmark, while also raising the number of seats in the House of Representatives to seven, with a byelection to be held to fill vacancies.
Klanift
On November 3rd, Chief Admiral of Klanift and founder Am Martin resigned, leaving acting powers to Josh Ford. In two addresses to the nation, Josh Ford expressed his support for the former Chief Admiral and asked for citizens prayers and well wishes. In addition, Mr. Ford announced that a general election be held to fill the National Council of Klanift.
Klanift announced November 5th that 15 members of the National Council of Klanift has been elected following the General Election. However, due to some candidates being elected by write in votes, a series of resignations did take place.
After a series of appointments to the Departments of Klanift by Hon. Eugene and ensuing concerns about the democratic process in Klanift, Josh Ford in his position as Versmarkian Minister of Interior announced a State of Emergency with the authorization of the Versmarkian Crown.
In the declaration of the State of Emergency, the Minister of the Interior laid out guidelines for the development of the nation, as well as calling for an amendment of the Charter of Klanift and important institutions, as well as dissolving multiple offices in Klanift.

Under my leadership as the duly confirmed Minister of the Interior of the Sovereign State of Versmark, I hereby establish the Provisional Council for purposes of providing stability and the return of representative democracy to the people of Klanift.
Presently, as the sole member of this Provisional Council, I have the duty to revert the undemocratic measures, and take large steps to provide a broadened Provisional Council the ability to make necessary changes to avoid factions undermining the will of the people.

The state of emergency would not last long however, with only an hour later the declaration being retracted and the state of emergency being over. Acting Chief Admiral Josh Ford resigned from his executive position, as well as his seat in the National Assembly. Vice Admiral John Thai would promptly be designated the acting Chief Admiral until an election can be held.
