The spring season is in full effect as May 1st, 2026 marks the official 3th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, originally claimed back on May 1st, 2023 after the dissolution of Lehmark. This Independence Day we not only celebrate three years of Versmark, but a new era of business and nobility for the nation.
The 6th Parliament concludes its final business, and welcomes the new 7th Versmarkian Parliament. The results are in, and the May 2026 Versmark general election elects its new House of Representatives. Results published by the Ministry of the Interior, find that the Monarchist Council Party (MCP) have retained their supermajority with five elected seats. The Alliance for Civil Transformation (ACT) traits behind with only 2 elected members, one less from last election.
Numerous members of nobility, and citizens of Versmark received changes in noble rank and titles, with His Sovereign Majesty, Wald I introducing a streamlined noble system, eliminating numerous ranks which were previously obsolete.
Changes in the House of Lords have also occurred after HL Am Martin has resigned, bring in HL Connor Hetner, and HL Mats Seifert. Thus bring the total seats in the Lords to five.
