On April 17th, the second quarter of the yearly parliament has passed two legislative pieces, and two minister appointments have been made.
First, the Versmarkian Corporations & Commerce Act, Q2 2025 was passed unanimously by the House of Representatives and the House of Lords. This now enables commerce to be a part of Versmarkian culture, and possibly could be the addition that introduces a national currency to Versmark.
Secondly, the Meritorious Honours Act, Q2 2025 was also passed unanimously by both houses of Parliament. This, as reported on before introduces new national honors to the nation in various parts; from military to civil, new awards and honors will be implemented.
The minister office of the Ministry of Culture & the Arts was voted on unanimously by both houses, appointing Am Martin as the new Minister of Culture & the Arts. The Ministry of Defense also gained Thaddeus Koslov as minister, with Koslov passing with a 2-1-2 vote in the House of Lords, and a 3-1 vote in the House of Representatives.
