It is our regret to inform the general public of the passing of Umar “Omar” Al-Atir, former Lehmarkian Minister of Foreign Affairs, fourth Vice Chair of the Organization of Islamic Micronations, King of the Kingdom of Qoroccostan, Chancellor of Ironland, and Prime Minister of Januaritania.1
As report by the Imruland Protidin, Omar may have passed from testicular cancer and other contributing causes, he was found in his Paris apartment. It was also speculated that his cause of death was suicide, although his family choose to not speak to any media or news outlet on the subject of his death.
As released by a statement from Josh Ford, Versmarkian Minister of Foreign Affairs, it has been decided that August 27th, 2025 will be represented as a day of mourning for Versmark2, Lehmark, and Imruland. We, as a community can collectively agree we have lost a great Discord/virtual sector micronationalist and friend to us. Our condolicences go out to his family, friend, and his fellow micronationalists.
