Yesterday, August 20th, the Ministry of the Treasury reported that their goal to fundraise for Versmarkian lapel pins was reached and even exceeded. With excess funds being transferred to the Treasury for future needs.
On August 9th, the Ministry of Culture and the Arts announced that a Pin design and producer had been located, with hopes to obtain $250 USD for production, taxes and shipping to Versmark’s citizens. The goal was reached and surpassed by $45 as of today.
This is the first major step towards acquiring physical Versmarkian items for citizens to own, with further plans for full sized flags, ribbons and medals to come in the future.
In a poll held by the Versmarkian Government, it was identified that lapel pins were the most wanted item, beating out desk flags and full-sized flags. The pins will also likely be a prominent piece for the MicroCon ’27 uniforms.
