ON THE 11th of June, Parliament was given two proposals, and on the same day Parliament passed Proposal 009 “Enhancing the Order of Spring” and Proposal 010 “On the Versmark National” Both were proposed by the chair of the MoC-P.
Proposal 009, “Enhancing the Order of Spring” is a piece of Constitutional legislation relating to the Honours of Versmark. It adds a new rank to Versmark’s Order of Spring, the Officer. It passed unanimously in both houses.
Proposal 010, “On the Versmark National” is General legislation, establishing a state news service called the Versmark National. Any member of the government who wishes can become a “member” of the Versmark national and start writing articles for the service. The legislation also makes clear that if the need is there, members may elect an Editor of the service. The proposal passed unanimously in the House of Representatives, but suffered one vote of “NO” in the House of Lords.
Another Parliamentary Proposition is underway however- a Citizen has proposed to Parliament to appoint himself as Minister of Defense. Currently, the proposal has passed unanimously in the House of Representatives, but the House of Lords is yet to vote on the matter.
